Lourdes Lavilla-Atienza

Lourdes graduated from the University of Zaragoza in Spain in 2010 and has a particular interest in exotic, wild and zoo animals, alongside surgery. Once qualified, she volunteered in a wildlife rescue centre in the Amazon Rainforest and in a well-renowned zoo in Peru before conducting an externship at Jersey Zoo. She has been an exotic vet in Spain, Dubai and France before she moved to the UK in 2015 where she has worked in general practices but she has had the luck to continue seeing zoo animals too. She has a couple of publications and is currently working on a book collaboration. She has a  GpCert in Exotic animals and is currently studying to get her advance certificate. She has a rescue, one-eye cat from Dubai, fish of all kinds and pet frogs.
