A new cattery building was built in 1998 as an annex to the main practice building. It incorporates many features to make your pets stay as comfortable as possible including:
- Underfloor heating to provide the optimum temperature for your pet's contentment
- A small window with a ledge in each unit for cats to sit and watch the outside world
- Staffed by our Veterinary Auxiliary Team with help from our nursing team
- Special diets can be provided, or you can bring your own
- Cats on long term medication are welcome
The Cattery is staffed by Veterinary Auxiliaries Kim, Louise, Nicola, Holly, Paige, Julia, Katie and Rosie, along with help from all our nursing team.
The cattery cats are cared for by our fantastic auxiliary team. If they have any worries or concerns about any of the cats they will liaise with one of our qualified veterinary nurses or veterinary surgeons. We will contact you directly during their stay if any treatment is required.
If you are thinking of becoming a client to use our cattery facilities, then a cattery viewing appointment can be arranged. To book a viewing, please call 0161 881 6868. During this viewing an auxiliary nurse will show you the facilities and answer any questions that you may have.
Some cats depending on their medical condition may need to stay in the hospital ward of the practice
Please remember to bring your pet's long term medications with you.
