Cattery

A brand new cattery building was built in 1998 as an annex to the  main practice building. It incorporates many features to make your  pets stay as comfortable as possible. There is under floor heating  to provide the optimum temperature for your pet's contentment.  Many cats prefer to stretch out on the warm floor in preference to  their own beds brought in from their home. Each unit has a small  window with a ledge upon which many cats sit contently watching  the outside world. The cattery is staffed by the nursing team. The junior nurses  do most of the caring calling in a qualified nurse or a veterinary  surgeon when necessary. All the cats being admitted to the  cattery are given a health check by a qualified nurse within 48  hours of admission. A detailed record of this and the daily record  will be handed over when your pet is going home. Potential clients of the cattery may inspect the  accommodation but for the security of the other guests will always  be accompanied. As a member of staff is not always available to  show you round we ask that appointments are made to view the  cattery. Special diets can be provided,  and cats on long-term  medication are also welcome. Some depending on their  medical condition may need to stay in the hospital ward of the  practice
